Can you even handle how adorable this little guy is? Meet Patrick Hoopes. Patrick was adopted at one week old by Brian and Emily Hoopes. They were informed that Patrick was born with a rare condition called "Short Gut Syndrome" in which 95% of his intestinal tract is missing. The doctors told the Hoopes that Patrick would only live to be one or two years old without a rare intestinal transplant. The Hoopes felt strongly that they should proceed with the adoption and do everything in their power to raise the money for his transplant. Good grief, look at those two little teeth! I'm a little disappointed that no one asked me to perform at the benefit. I play a killer "Yankee Doodle Dandee" with my nose.
