Have you met my friend, Aaron Ashton? He will knock your socks off. On Friday, I made a little guest appearance with him at the Sandy Amphitheater to sing "Ooh-La-La-De-Da," which I had the privilege to record on his album, Split the Difference. If you haven't heard this song, you can preview it on iTunes. You will like it. You will see. You will like it in a tree.

Aaron is the most amazing violinist.

  1. Mindy, I have tried sending an email..but I keep getting them returned as undeliverable! ( I try not to take these kind of things personal...)

I am sure that you are bombarded all the time with requests for "free" shows...well, here is another one. I am trying to organize a fundraising concert for a lady that is somewhat of a small town, local hero, in the eyes of several people. Her name is Amy Jackson, and her story can be seen here..

    and here..

Your name was actually brought up as a special request of both Amy and her family. I don't have a date set yet, I am waiting to see if you would possibly be willing and available, and when you could possibly have time for a small town! :) We will have some local performers to go before you (myself included) and would be extremely grateful for any time you would be willing to give. I appreciate your time and hope to hear from you soon!

  2. Mindy! It's Ashley, Aaron/Blue Sky's communications lady. You did an amazing job Friday night. I'll have some pics posted soon on my photo blog and Blue Sky's facebook page; I'll be sure to send them to you. :) It was so nice to meet you.

  3. I want your hair. Then again the neighbors think I have your hair, because from behind they all think I'm you! Haha. I'm always flattered times a billion. Oh, and when we get back Andrew and I wanna go to a show and watch you do your thing, all your CD promo stuff is making me ansy!

  4. This song makes me think of something that would be part of a soundtrack to a movie!! LOL!! My son is in school for film studies!! Maybe that's why I think that way! HAH!! It's GREAT!! You did AWESOME!! (as always...) and I AM impressed with Aaron Asthon's talent! Thanks for SHARING! =D

  5. Looks like you also shake a mean tambourine! Too bad it's not green! :)

  6. Such fun! I agree about Aaron Ashton. I've enjoyed listening to his CD. Highly recommended.

  7. Yes, but where did you get that dress?!

  8. Ha! Hailey, I got the dress at a flea market in Chicago, but I also like to find vintage dresses at Decades in Salt Lake. We should go there sometime!

Kathleen, thanks for your request. I shall send you an email.

  9. just listened to the preview on itunes... sounds like a catchy song for sure!
