The Light That Shines

The Light That Shines from hailey bartholomew on Vimeo.

Things like this reaffirm why I chose a life path in music. I am so blessed and honored to have two of my songs as background music in this life changing mini documentary on a brave young woman named Jill Brzezinski Conley, who was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a double mastectomy and finally going into remission, she was then diagnosed with incurable bone cancer. Her message to love your body just the way it comes is beautiful. Grab your box of Kleenex and prepare to be inspired.

P.S. This was filmed by the amazing, Sue Bryce.

  6. Hi Mindy-
We fell in love with you and your music when you did the benefit for Makida's little girl in Boise. Your music has such power to calm and to lift. Six months ago, my 3 year old was diagnosed with Cancer. I can't tell you how often we use your music to calm him during procedures and pokings-- trips to the E.R. and the constant blood draws. You have a magical effect on him and his spirits. You also have created quite the following in hospital rooms all over our valley. Not a week goes by that I don't have a nurse or doctor ask me who and what we are listening to. I've had more people write down your name and want to join those of us who adore your music. Thank you! p.s. who do we contact about having you come play at a Cancer fundraiser here in Boise? lonleavittbarker@gmail.com
