Funny Business

Recent funny business:

1.) Took my boys out for ice cream. Youngest boy prefers plastic spoon on ground over clean unused spoon. I freak. "Don't worry Mom," he consoles me as he sucks on it,"there's no more germs because I sucked all of them off."

2.) Went on a road trip with David Archuleta. Referred to him once as "David Enchilada." He was not amused.

3.) Got chased by an enormous, radioactive bumble bee during the Nauvoo Pageant. Made a mad dash for it through the audience.

4.) Youngest son gave me the most adorable kisses today, until . . . he slipped me the tongue. And I dry heaved.

5.) We currently own three spoons. Glediator resorts to a ladle with which to eat cereal.

6.) Youngest boy stepped in a pile of the neighboring Great Dane's poo. In BARE FEET.

  6. Oh Mindy...So funny. I love reading your blog.

My baby has taken to giving kisses also ....they are quite loud, smacking, and slobbery.....so one time (out of necessity) I wiped my mouth on my shirt when she was done. Ever since then, she'll give me a big slobbery kiss, then take her shirt and wipe my mouth, then do it again. Over, and over, and over... you just can't help but crack up during the whole process.

  8. Hey Mindy,
Found your blog through Stephanie's. What a cute post this is! (Little boys are SO funny, aren't they?) And I liked the post you did on my mom too. It was nice of you to have her over--I'm glad you guys get to be neighbors. :) It sounds like you are busy, with lots of traveling and adventures! I hope things are going well for you and your family!

  10. Mindy, we have 40 spoons (I just counted them. I was curious.) and 8 baby spoons that will do in a pinch. We regularly have them ALL dirty at the same time. How do you live with 3 spoons??

  12. Is David Archuleta amused by anything? He seems dull as rocks.
