So, there's this amazing Mexican restaurant right off of the I-15 in Farr West, UT called Bella's. Seriously amazing. Bella's holds a concert series every summer and because I love the owners and because I love their food, I am proud to be a part of this concert series. Tonight we will be doing a really fun, intimate, acoustic CD release party for Anchor.
So, come and grab some dinner, and then head over to the courtyard at 7:00 to enjoy a concert. Bring your family! Tickets are $10 each, but if you buy 4 or more, then they're only $8 a pop. Call 801.737.0557 to purchase yours. Bella's is located at 2851 N. 1850 W., Farr West, UT. See you there!

You are so gifted, I LOVE your music!! Please come to Mesa, AZ sometime!!
ReplyDeleteDear Mindy- I have a quick question for you (I know you are probably super busy!). When I was a young teenager, there was this CD my mom bought for me and it was so inspirational to me. It was a mixed CD with various artists (softer songs) and one of the songs was called "I will rest"... was that you? Also, did you write the song "Small enough" or did Nicole Nordeman? I see you both have those songs on your albums (I'm a huge fan of hers too- your voices remind me of each other a tad). I just love your music- my 19 month old daughter begs to dance with me when your music plays! Much love :)
ReplyDeleteHi Mindy- ever since I saw you at the SPARK event Friday I've been humming your tunes all weekend long. My daughters and I love the cover and every drop of music. Thank you for sharing your talent while raising a busy family. It's hard to juggle both!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the headband!

Dear Mindy, you don't know me, but I was at your concert tonight. I took pictures with you and my cute sister and darling mother and had you sign our Anchor CD's that we just can't get enough of! :) My husband served a mission in Zimbabwe Africa and I wrote him while he was away (Before we were married obviously).... He had very very rough days there, emotionally and physically. He wrote to me once and told me how about a singer he would listen to at night through his iPod. It was the only thing he could do to find peace. Immediatly I went to the store and bought the CD he was talking about. YOUR CD, and I have loved you ever since. :) You may just being doing what you do some days, but I hope you know that what you do touches so many lives. Thank you for coming to Farr West tonight. We love you even though we don't know you personally. Hugs and Kisses :)
ReplyDeleteLOVED it, you were so wonderful!! I especially loved hearing the stories behind the songs :) Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteCasey, Jacci Velazquez is the original artist of "I Will Rest in You," written by Michelle Tumes and Brent Bourgois. And Nichole Nordeman is also the original artist and writer of "Small Enough." I just covered the songs. Thanks for your comment!
ReplyDeleteEveryone who came to Bella's: Thank you all so much! I had a great time and it was so fun to be with you.
ReplyDeleteHi Mindy my name is Erin Heuett. Just wanted to tell you how great your music is. Can't wait for you to perform in Cedar City this weekend!! Also, I saw that you sell the sheet music on your website for a couple of your new songs. Any chance I could find some sheet music from your older albums "The Sum of All Grace" or "Feather in the Wind"?
ReplyDeleteMindy even though we have never met I just have to tell you how much I LOVE your music. I must admit I never heard your music before but I saw NieNie talk about you on her blog and I loved what I heard. I decided to go to your concert this summer and now I can't stop listening to your Anchor album every day. I not only LOVE every song but I feel like I personally connect with every song. Your music brings me so much joy. I have never sang to my kids before because I have never liked my voice but your songs inspire me and now I sing Hourglass to my boys every night and i sing All About Your Heart to my daughter. My voice is not any better but my kids LOVE it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent!!!

ReplyDeleteLately you are everywhere and I just had to say hello. You probably do not remember me, but we used to work together long, long ago at Estee Lauder.
Anyway, I know Ryan Tanner (actually, his wife, Emily and I have known each other and been friends as long as I can remember), I know Matt Eastin (we worked together at UVSC), and Christy (Schultz) Pethel and I are good friends (sister of Sammy's). Small world.
I'm happy to see you so successful and doing so well. Your voice is beautiful and your music inspiring. I wish you the best!
Just picked up your music on itunes! We are just in Love with you!
