Sweet News

A few days ago I had a hankering for a cupcake. I knew right where to go to satisfy my cupcake needs. The Sweet Tooth Fairy has the most heaven-sent goodies in the universe and their VaNIElla Cupcake (named after my lovely friend Nie Nie) knocks my socks off every time.

BEHOLD!

I also had my eye on the Strawberry Shortcake variety, but I'll have to try those next time.

The fairy in the adorable pink hankie (Macy) boxed up the object of my desire and sent me on my way.
GOOD NEWS: The Sweet Tooth Fairy is providing a complimentary dessert table at my Valentine's concert at Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo, UT on Saturday, February 12th. There's nothing I'd love more than to see you and your Valentine sitting out in the audience, with frosting and cakebite crumbs on your lips. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. so there's plenty of time to go and grab some dinner beforehand in historic, downtown Provo (but save room for dessert!). I love Communal, Rooster, Spark, India Palace, Gloria's Little Italy, Los Hermanos, and for something quick, try the burgers and sweet potato fries at Sammy's Cafe.

Buy tickets early HERE and save money!
Tickets $12 at mindygledhill.com and $15 at the door.

  1. The cupcakes remind me of those sold at a little place in Portland (OR). They too sell tiny little cupcake bites. Worth going in just for those.

  2. YUMMY!! We had the pumpkin chocolate cupcake the other day and it was so good. It is hard to stay away from there.

  3. Wish I lived close. I don't love cupcakes, but those look amazing. And I can't believe you chopped your hair. It's so cute! I had short hair back in college and got tons of compliments, but it's kind of not the style anymore. Maybe you'll bring it back in.

  4. When we were there in December we stopped in to try their fare and it was delicious!

This show sounds like so much fun!

P.s. Your new do is completely adorable!

  5. First of all, I LOVE your new haircut! I love a good pixie cut - in very impulsive and compulsive ways. Sadly, I am one year into trying to grow my hair out, and this time I'm determined to at least grow it out to pony tail length... but you are definitely tempting me to run to the nearest salon!

On another note, I got two tickets to your show on the 12th for me and my husband, and I am so, so excited! I can't wait!

  6. Darn, I will be in town a week too early to catch your concert. Any chance you have a concert the week before?

  7. Carole, I've been to that cupcake place in Portland! I think it's called St. Cupcake, right?

Darilyn, AS of now, the only show I have cose to the 12th is an acoustic show at The Beehive Tea Room in Salt Lake on Jan, 27th.

Thanks for all the compliments about my cut everyone!
