Cyber Monday

It's Cyber Monday.

You know, I've actually never even heard of Cyber Monday until my husband was telling me about it yesterday. Black Friday is the big shopping day with all the deals in retail stores, and Cyber Monday is when all of the big specials happen online. Why am I telling you this? I'm sure you already know. In any case, right now, I'm having a Christmas special that includes both my albums for only $19.98. However, TODAY for Cyber Monday, I will sign any orders that come my way. If you want me to write a personal message to whomever you will be gifting your order to, I am most happy to do that. When you log onto my store, just click "My Account" then click "View Messages" and you can send me a message telling me any specifics. Otherwise, I'll just sign my name like in the photo above. Also, be sure to let me know if you do NOT want the CD signed. Click HERE to make your order.

Happy Cyber Monday!

The Winner . . .

Hey everyone. Thanks so much for participating in the giveaway and for posting such awesome things about the album. This was the first giveaway I've ever done, so I'm excited that anyone even entered at all! I used one of those random lottery counter thing-a-ma-bobs online and it turns out that Jen Schouten is the winner! Thanks Jen! You can email your mailing address to me at mindy@mindygledhill.com.

If you'd still like to take advantage of the Christmas specials going on at mindygledhill.com, you certainly may do so by clicking HERE.

Thanks again and have a lovely weekend!

Black Friday Giveaway and Wholesale Offer!!!

Thanksgiving totally rocked my world today. I hope you all had a great one. A few of you will be prepping for the Black Friday Frenzy that is upon us. I for one, do NOT want to go out into the insanely cold weather and sucker punch my way through hoards of black-belt shoppers. I'm sure some of you feel the same. Instead, I will be doing all my shopping online this year. It's SO totally the best way to go.

Wouldn't it be amazing to get all your shopping done for your friends, family, or employees all at once? Well, step right up, folks. In addition to my 2 for $20 special, starting right now through Dec. 17th, I'm also offering both my albums at bulk pricing. If you buy a case of 30 CDs, you can get them for only $6.63 each. That's $199 for the case.

CRA-ZAY!!! I know.

And in honor of Black Friday, I am giving away a case of "Anchor" albums. The retail value of 30 CDs is $509.40, so this is an amazing value.
Here's how you can win:
Simply tell people about my bulk order and 2 for $20 Christmas specials on your Facebook, Twitter, or Blog with this link to my store:

http://bluemorphmusic.mybigcommerce.com/

Then, copy a link to YOUR post in my comments section here on my blog. Easy as pumpkin pie.
The giveaway ends at 10:00 p.m. MT on Friday, Nov. 26th. A winner will be randomly chosen and announced shortly after. Good luck!

P.S. I noticed that many of you are posting a link to the blog and telling people about the Giveaway. That actually only makes it harder for you to win! Remember to tell them about my two Christmas specials: The bulk order special where you get a case of 30 Anchor CDs for $6.63 each and the 2 for $20 special. Then, you give them the link to my store: http://bluemorphmusic.mybigcommerce.com/

Thanksgiving and Doobies

I know we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet, but I always get the Christmas spirit WAY too early. My office looks like a whirlwind blew through Santa's workshop with all the CDs I've been wrapping and mailing. (Yeah, I have a 2 for $20 Christmas special going on with FREE gift wrapping on all orders at www.mindygledhill.com). It's a good thing that wrapping presents is a favorite activity of mine.
Also, I've been waiting for a year to put up these glass stars that my mother-in-law gave me for Christmas last year. I got all domestic and crafty and hung them with different colored ribbons.
I inherited an obsession with vintage Christmas ornaments from my mom. I found this man in rural Utah who lives in an abandoned bus. He is a hoarder and always sells junk in front of his bus. I bought a whole box of amazing vintage ornaments from him for $10!!! Beware: he may or may not roll homemade doobies right before your eyes while you barter with him. But doobies aside, these ornaments look awesome in a bowl or hanging in my window with the glass stars.
If you were disappointed that I didn't post something on gratitude or Thanksgiving, then fear not! I am honored to be a guest blogger today for Jenn Warnick on www.makeitmyown.blogspot.com. Also, Jenn is doing a giveaway for my new album, Anchor, so hop on over to her blog. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

P.S. Just saw that my friend Cjane, posted a video of me and some of the Lower Lights singing "For the Beauty of the Earth." This is my favorite song at Thanksgiving time. Go here to watch. Go here to buy the actual recording. Peace out.

A Milestone

As artists, we create pieces of literature, pick up the paint brush, choreograph sacred steps or pen our hearts into song, all with the hope that we are sending something out there into the universe that others will find meaningful. Last Saturday marked a milestone for me when a friend emailed me to tell me that the music video for "Anchor" had surpassed 100,000 views. This is exciting to me for many reasons. But more than anything, I hope this means that people are responding to a song that came from a tender spot in my spirit. I hope this is a manifestation that this song has struck a chord in the spirits of others. I am so very grateful and humbled to be a vessel for this song. Thanks for all your support in your watching and sharing this video. Love to you.

Murder in the Dark

This is me hiding under a blanket a year ago at Thanksgiving time. I was playing my favorite game of all time with my kids and my dad - Murder in the Dark. This is a game my dad would play with me and my siblings when we were little ones in which he would turn all the lights off in the house until it was pitch black. Then, we would find hiding spots and hold our breath for what seemed like an eternity while Dad entered the room like the Creature from the Black Lagoon, growling low and long. When he found us (usually because our giggling gave us away), we would squeal while he tickled us until we were ready to burst.

Tonight I am wishing for a simpler time. Life has been moving so fast and there have been moments when I've wanted to hide under a blanket and be five years old again. I'm so looking forward to spending some time with my family during the upcoming holidays.

Me and Pops.
