Tonight we had a melt down at our house when bed time came. One of my kids (who is quite a bit more sensitive than the average bear) has felt pretty neglected and things got ugly when I told him I wouldn't see him much tomorrow. That's when the melt down came. I couldn't end the day and wake up to an album release feeling like I was a failure as a parent. No concert, no album, no audience could compensate for that. So we snuggled for along time and talked about how we could make things work better. I've been making a lot of movies lately, both home made as well as the music video for "Anchor." He has wanted to be involved in every one so what he really wanted to do was to make a movie with me. Just before hopping into bed, he pulled together a few ideas and directed this video. If you like his work, leave the little guy a comment. As for the show tonight, you can buy your tickets here: www.coveycenter.org or call (801)852-7007. I'll see you there!

This video is so cute that I wanted to congratulate the director! He is very talented and I understood it all, thank you so much for sharing this masterpiece! Lots of love from Aix en Provence, France!
ReplyDeleteThat was fabulous! I loved the little teddy bear! I agree with Danielle... the director was very talented, and it was a nice short clip to watch. I've never heard your 'speaking voice' before, and I loved it!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! That was even better than Spielberg's last three films...combined! Right up there with Jared Hess! But, next time make sure you have some "cheeps" for the guest! ;)

You are a such a Gem Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us and giving us awesome music to listen to every day! My daughters and I love your music, we own all your CD's now. ReplyDeleteDelightful video! What fun you and Teddy must have had. Thank you so much for a wonderful concert experience. I was pretty exhausted and not sure I was going to enjoy it, but having The Thrillionaires start things off threw me right back into wack. And then you, of course, were wonderful. A big thanks to all who made it possible to have such an enjoyable evening.

Hi Rhonda! Thanks for your sweet comment. I would love to come to Australia! If I could find a way to make it work financially, I would. Hopefully, I'll get to that point. For now, you can download the album on iTunes. Thanks again!
